Update, Transfer & Manage Your Account

Whether you have recently moved into a new property, are selling your home, or simply need to update your personal details, managing your Syabas water account is straightforward via the Air Selangor platform. Here is everything you need to know about account management.

Change of Ownership (Transfer Account)

When you purchase a property in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, or Putrajaya, you will need to apply to transfer the existing Syabas water account into your name. Submit a Change of Ownership application through the Air Selangor website or visit a service centre. You will need a copy of your NRIC, the Sale & Purchase Agreement, and the previous owner's account details.

Update Personal Information

Keep your contact information up to date so you receive important notices and bills without interruption. Log into your Air Selangor account and navigate to Account Settings to update your email address, phone number, and mailing address.

Apply for a New Water Connection

For newly built properties, you will need to apply for a new water meter connection. Submit your application with the required documents — including the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and approved building plans — to the nearest Syabas/Air Selangor service centre or online portal.

Disconnect or Close Your Account

If you are vacating a property, you can request a meter disconnection and account closure. Settle all outstanding balances before applying. Any security deposit held by Syabas will be refunded upon satisfactory closure of your account.
